Located in North Peoria on 67th Avenue (turns into Pyramid Peak Parkway) north of Jomax Road, Sonoran Mountain Ranch is a beautiful community of single-family homes that is nestled at the foothills of the Peoria Regional Preserve and the Peoria East Wing Mountain Preserve which provides for fantastic mountain views from many of the homes in the area. The community was first established in 2005 and has about 3,700 residents. This community is about 6.5 miles to the north of the 101 highway, and about 5 miles west of the I-17. So while it is not terribly far from the highways, it is not very close either, which gives this community a remote feel which may appeal to people who love the outdoors and don’t care for the hustle and bustle of city living.

There are currently only resale single-family homes available in Sonoran Mountain Ranch, ranging from about $300,000 to $900,000, although there are a small number of luxury custom homes up to $3,000,000 as well.

Sonoran Mountain Ranch offers several parks that have BBQ grills, playgrounds, and basketball courts as well as plenty of walking/hiking/biking trails. Parcel 15 of Sonoran Mountain Ranch, in particular, is a gated subsection of the community that also has a community pool and thereby carries a higher HOA cost.

Sonoran Mountain Ranch is also minutes away from the Thunderbird Conservation Park and Deem Hills Recreation Area, both of which have miles of hiking and biking trails to enjoy while taking in the beautiful mountainous surroundings. Even more, Sonoran Mountain Ranch is only 15 miles from Lake Pleasant Regional Park where you can camp, boat, jet ski, kayak, swim, hike, and bike.

Sonoran Mountain Ranch is located only a few miles from a Fry’s Signature grocery store, as well as a Walmart Neighborhood Market, Walgreens, and a new Starbucks. There are also many other shopping and dining options within a reasonable distance.
